Notes:
History of Morrow County, 1880, lists George B. Smith's wife as "Miss Mary E.
Clements, however both the death certificate of Julia Garbison (nee Smith)
and an IGI Record (taken from the web site, 3Jun99) indicate that her maiden
name was Pritchard. Clements might have been an error, or a first husband.

Mary's father, Thomas, and Elizabeth Spring were married in 1820, three years after Mary's birth. With nine years between Mary and Milla, it is possible that Thomas might have had a first wife, who was Mary's mother.
